at our Lodge while you are in Vancouver for medical treatment.
The Aboriginal Patients' Lodge features beautifully furnished
apartments with equipped kitchens so that you can relax and
focus on the healing path. The Aboriginal Patients' Lodge
is the first of its kind in BC!
We opened our doors on October 1st, 2004
to serve the Aboriginal communities of BC and Yukon for patient
travel. The Lodge is a social entrepreneurship project
and financially sustainable. Your staying at the Lodge
contributes to our success and growth!
Our Lodge was created thanks to the partnership of Lu'ma
Native Housing Society, BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre
and BC Housing. We had a great many contributers who also
enabled us to open successfully, you can read more in About
the Lodge.
