Indigicare Medicines offers access to all Over the Counter items that are 100% covered for free by FNHA Health Benefits (Plan W) without a prescription.    

• People can visit & provide their FNHA Health Benefits Plan W card and access what they need.  

• Other health benefit plans, might cover some of these Over the Counter items with a prescription from a Doctor or NP.

• Our OTC items are much cheaper for people who have to pay out of pocket, than other drug stores!

Indigicare Medicines is an Indigenous-owned pharmacy offering a unique approach to care. We weave together Indigenous traditional knowledge and healing practices with Western medicine to create a culturally safe and respectful space where everyone, especially our Indigenous community, is supported and cared for.

This ground-breaking pharmacy was created with the community’s guidance. Over several years, we listened, learned, and worked with over 300 people—including Elders, Indigenous doctors, and wholistic healers—to understand what a safe and welcoming Indigenous pharmacy should be. Our services and operations will continue to grow and adapt to meet the community’s needs.
